Beyoncé earned 11 nominations for the 2025 Grammy Awards, announced Friday, breaking a tie to become the most-nominated artist in the history of the ceremony. The Recording Academy revealed the lineup for the 67th annual Grammy Awards, setting the stage for next year's show.

With the new haul, Beyoncé's career total stands at 99 nominations. She leads this year's field with nods across a wide range of genres, including best solo pop performance, best melodic rap performance, best Americana performance and best country performance in both the solo and group categories.

Her album Cowboy Carter, which explores American identity, politics and roots music and drew considerable debate and controversy, was recognized in the top categories. The album is up for album of the year, a prize Beyoncé has famously never won. Its single "TEXAS HOLD 'EM" is nominated for both song of the year and record of the year.

The record of the year race reflects a strong summer for pop music. Beyoncé will compete against Charli xcx ("360"), Billie Eilish ("BIRDS OF A FEATHER"), Kendrick Lamar ("Not Like Us"), Taylor Swift featuring Post Malone ("Fortnight"), Sabrina Carpenter ("Espresso") and Chappell Roan ("Good Luck, Babe!"). The Beatles' "Now and Then" also made the list, a somewhat unexpected inclusion.

Charli xcx, Eilish, Lamar and Post Malone follow Beyoncé with seven nominations each. Swift, Roan and Carpenter each received six.

Carpenter and Roan are both nominated in all four general categories: song of the year, record of the year, album of the year and best new artist. Both have enjoyed critical and commercial success this year, helped by Coachella appearances and opening slots on international tours, Carpenter for Swift and Roan for Olivia Rodrigo.

The best new artist field also includes the psych-groove trio Khruangbin, rapper Doechii, pop-rock singer Benson Boone and RAYE, as well as Teddy Swims. Country-rap artist Shaboozey is nominated as well, after "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" spent 15 weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100.

Album of the year nominees are André 3000's New Blue Sun, Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter, Carpenter's Short n' Sweet, Charli xcx's BRAT, Jacob Collier's Djesse Vol. 4, Eilish's Hit Me Hard and Soft, Roan's The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess and Swift's The Tortured Poets Department.

Song of the year nominees include "A Bar Song (Tipsy)," "BIRDS OF A FEATHER," "Die With a Smile" by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars, "Fortnight," "Good Luck, Babe!," "Not Like Us," "Please Please Please" and "TEXAS HOLD 'EM." Nominations also span dozens of other categories, including rock, R&B, rap, jazz, country, dance and musical theater.
